Danielle Kang is known to be a little fiery on the golf course, but that temperament has served her well up to this point.
Playing in this week’s LPGA Tour event, the HSBC Women’s World Championship, Kang’s disposition allowed her to play the first 50 holes of the tournament without a blemish on her scorecard. Coming off of a second-round course record, Kang was 3-under par for the tournament when she reached the par-3 15th hole.
After tapping in for her first bogey of the week, Kang felt that her golf ball had had a good run and should be deposited into a nearby lake. What she didn’t expect to happen was hold onto the ball for a split second longer and nearly take out a photographer who was on the banks of the water hazard.

Kang’s stormy disposition after the bogey changed immediately and after an initial shock of embarrassment was able to verify that the cameraman was just fine.
Kang would go on to shoot a 2-under par 70 in the third round, which put her right in the hunt for her second LPGA Tour win.
