Dustin Johnson may be the current World Number One in the golf world, but when it comes to social media, he’s still number two. Of course, when your fiancée is Instagram celebrity, Paulina Gretzky, it’s not even a competition.
The 32-year-old joined The Big Lead’s podcast on Tuesday in a relatively quick, wide-ranging interview where he discussed his back injury that forced him to miss the Masters, his improved wedge play, and most importantly, him and his fiancée’s social media habits. As it turns out, the winner of his last three PGA Tour events is a lot like most men involved with powerful women. The only difference being that he averages over 315 off the tee.
The question was asked if he’s got any say in what Paulina posts for the world to see. Right on cue, Johnson responded with a hard “Absolutely not.”
“She doesn’t ask me! Like I would know what would be good to post or not. I’m terrible with that,” he explained.

Makes sense considering DJ plays golf for a living, and she’s been a verified on social media long before DJ was even in the picture.
“I ask her, though, if I can post something,” Johnson added, like any adult male who has been or is currently in a relationship. He then clarified that Paulina will only say no if it’s a shot of the two of them, and she doesn’t like the way it looks. Better to be safe than sorry!
