Memphis Hosts Final U.S. Open Tune-Up

The second major championship of the year is on the horizon, but the PGA Tour is making one final stop in the BBQ Capital of the World for the FedEx St. Jude Classic. A stout field of those hoping to punch their ticket to the U.S. Open as well as those trying to kickstart their summer schedule will be on  hand and on PGA TOUR LIVE will have coverage beginning early Thursday morning.

The field includes 32 players who have already qualified for next week’s U.S. Open at Erin Hills and will feature some star power that even the U.S. Open will likely be lacking. Phil Mickelson will make his fifth consecutive appearance at the St. Jude, a place he hasn’t finished outside of the top-11 in his last four tries. Lefty headlines the PGA TOUR LIVE coverage window over the first two days of the event.

Joining Phil in the featured pairings are last year’s winner Daniel Berger, last week’s runner-up Rickie Fowler and a cast of other big names that include Adam Scott, Jim Furyk, Graeme McDowell, Billy Horschel and Brooks Koepka.
