Former Web.com Tour Pro Arrested In Prostitution Sting

The prostitution and human trafficking probe that resulted in two charges of soliciting prostitution against New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft also involved former Web.com Tour pro and longtime boyfriend of LPGA Tour star Jessica Korda, Johnny DelPrete.

DelPrete, who currently works as a Scotty Cameron rep on the PGA Tour as well as a real estate agent, was arrested on Friday morning at 3:23 a.m. in Stuart, Florida, on a charge of soliciting prostitution, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s office.

DelPrete played college golf at the University of Louisville as well as Ole Miss. He turned pro and competed in eight Web.com Tour events between 2012 and 2014, making one cut, a T59 finish at BMW Charity Pro-Am. He also played on the PGA Tour Canada and PGA Tour China.

DelPrete famously took over the bag mid-round for Korda during the 2013 U.S. Women’s Open when the LPGA star fired her caddie in the middle of the third round.

DelPrete was released on $2,500 bond, according to reporting by Golfweek.com.

DelPrete was one of 35 men who were charged in connection with a series of day spas that spanned from Orlando to Palm Beach as part of a several-month investigation the found women were working illegally in “sexual servitude,” according to TCPalm.com.
