Hopefully, you’re thirsty because Hudson Swafford is buying the drinks! On Friday during the second round of the WGC-Bridgestone, the 29-year-old University of Georgia product hit the shot of the day when made a hole-in-one on the 214 yard par-3 15th hole.
Sitting on 1-over par and looking for spark, Swafford took dead aim with a 6-iron and then let physics, and a little bit of luck, take over. His ball took one hop sideways, and tracked forward into the cup for the ace. That’s one way to get to get into red figures! The 2017 CareerBuilder Challenge winner finished with a 1-under 69 and is currently tied for 13th.
Do you know who else almost had another highlight reel shot on Friday? If you guessed Jordan Spieth, you’d be correct. Check out this near eagle he produced from an awkward lie from just outside the fairway bunker on the par-4 17th.
Is there anyt shot his kid can’t pull off?

Jimmy Walker leads by two strokes after 36 holes firing the round of the day with a 5-under par 65. Thomas Pieters sits in second while Rory McIlroy, who’s game is showing some more signs of life, is three back at 4-under. Spieth and Day are right behind that at 2-under. DJ struggled mightily going birdie-less en route to a 5-over par round of 75.
Here’s a look at all of Friday’s highlights:
