Daly’s Advice to Tiger: “This Stuff Will Pass”

If there’s another professional golfer who can relate to what Tiger Woods is currently going through, it’s John Daly. Since Woods’ Memorial Day DUI arrest, there has been a steady stream of news and opinions regarding the incident. However, Daly knows a thing or two about handling personal hardships. In a brief interview with TMZ, Daly expressed sympathy for the 14-time major winner.

“Tiger probably didn’t think he was feeling that bad. I feel bad for the guy. He’s gone through all these surgeries. I’m not saying because he’s an athlete he should get away with it,” he said.

Back in 2008, Long John was taken into police custody for passing out from intoxication at a North Carolina Hooters, and like Woods had an embarrassing mug shot go viral.

Daly’s advice to Tiger? “Get back on the golf course, man,” he said. “This stuff will pass. It always does.”
