The third major championship of 2017 is less than a week away and the only way for those in the John Deere Classic to earn a spot at the Open Championship is a high finish in the Quad Cities. The best of both those already in the Open and those hoping to earn a spot will be playing on PGA TOUR LIVE, which will have coverage beginning early Thursday morning.
Those in the field at Royal Birkdale already include Bubba Watson, Wesley Bryan, Brian Harman, Daniel Berger, Zach Johnson, Charles Howell III, William McGirt, Ryan Moore, Kevin Kisner and Steve Stricker. Those still looking to earn a spot include Kyle Stanley and Cody Gribble, both of whom will be a part of PGA TOUR LIVE‘s coverage window over the first two days of the event.
