Jordan’s Spieth’s agent, Jay Danzi, is stepping down as COO of Lagardere Sports U.S. and is taking his star talent with him.
Per the Golf Channel, Danzi released a statement on Tuesday that he feel it is “time for a new adventure” and will represent Speith independently.
Spieth is the world’s No. 4 -ranked player and was one of the top clients of Lagardere Sports, which has acquired a handful of firms in the last several years. Even without Spieth, Lagardere still represents Phil Mickelson, Jon Rahm and Patton Kizzire.
