The camaraderie on the PGA Tour has been a source of conversation for the last few years as detractors often wonder aloud if friendships among players are good for the game. While that debate can be settled elsewhere, it’s safe to say that without it we wouldn’t have gotten the hilarious interruption we did from Jordan Spieth on Sunday.
Rickie is always the first to congratulate his friends on a big win. On Sunday, Jordan Spieth returned the favor: https://t.co/QhUGYQF3dN pic.twitter.com/6gY13PwhJ5

Shortly after Rickie Fowler completed his final round at the Hero World Challenge, he spoke with Golf Channel and NBC’s Steve Sands in typical fashion. What wasn’t typical about the one-on-one interview was that Spieth was able to make his way through a gated off area to congratulate his friend on the victory.
Fowler is often found post-round on Sundays hanging out well past the time he has finished his round to congratulate friends on earning a win. While Spieth actually finished his round after Fowler at the Hero, it was good to see one of the best players in the world genuinely happy for his friend.
