McIlroy Sells Mansion For $11.5 Million

As if Rory McIlroy needed any more money, he just picked up the equivalent of winning the FedEx Cup… again.

The Northern Irishman finally sold his 16,000-square foot Palm Beach Gardens mansion that had been on the market since January of this year. McIlroy moved closer to his home course, The Bear’s Club, in nearby Jupiter following his marriage to Erica Stoll in 2017.

McIlroy purchased the PBG home for $9.5 million and the empty lot next to it for $2.25 million in 2012, according to the South Florida Business Journal

The property, which was purchased by a client of J. Christopher Hughes of the Elms Gate Land Trust in Austin, Texas, features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, a pool, a dock, a practice putting area and an exercise room.
