The Zurich Classic of New Orleans has been bucking trends for years now, but one thing that really struck a chord during last year’s team event was the introduction of walk-up songs a la a baseball game.
For the second consecutive year, teams who make the 36-hole cut will get the chance to share some of their favorite songs with the fans on the first tee of Saturday’s third round.
Like the PGA Tour, the song choices for this year’s event are diverse, but unsurprisingly there are a good number of repeats, headlined by Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” a country-hip hop redux that was selected by four teams — Adam Schenk and Tyler Duncan, Colt Knost and Boo Weekly, Harold Varner III and Tom Lovelady and Troy Merritt and Robert Streb.

For those fans with younger kids, the second-most popular song choice was “Baby Shark” by Pinkfong, which will introduce Joel Dahmen and Brandon Harkins as well as Michael Kim and C.T. Pan
