If there’s one lesson to take from the Ryder Cup, it’s to expect the unexpected. With that in mind, it should be no surprise when you see where these two tee shots ended up yesterday.
The first is courtesy of Brooks Koepka who’s drive on the fifth hole at Hazeltine landed just inside the gallery ropes, took one hop and came to rest on top of a backpack being worn by none other than his opponent, Thomas Pieters’, father.
One the very same hole, Sergio Garcia’s drive found a marshal’s pocket:
