Another day of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, another alligator encounter. On Friday during the second round at Bay Hill, Smylie Kaufman was walking along side the water on the sixth hole minding his own business, when he looked up, noticed a gator directly in his path, and instantly jumped backwards. His caddie followed suite and they both got out of dodge.
Of course Kaufman had some fun with the hilarious incident quoting a line from the great golf comedy film Happy Gilmore:

Let’s just say Smylie’s reaction was just a tad different than Cody Gribble’s on Thursday where on the same hole, and we assume, the same gator was hanging out:

Apparently Kaufman’s always been a bit jumpy when it comes to reptiles on the golf course – even if it’s fake!
