The European Tour social media team has done it again.
In the third installment of their “Chase The Ace Hole-In-One Challenge,” Englishman Andy Sullivan was tapped to attempt to accomplish what Italian Edoardo Molinari and South African Brandon Stone had previously failed to do — make an ace given 500 balls and an entire day to try.
Both Molinari and Stone came agonizingly close to making a 1, but neither could achieve the euphoria that an ace — however it is achieved — brings.
Sullivan’s unique and candid personality brought an extra bit of excitement to the proceedings that the European Tour estimated are 1 in 2,500 odds.
It took Sullivan 230 balls and countless tongue lashings to hole the shot, but his celebration made it worthwhile and one of the best videos the Euro Tour has ever put out, which is saying something.
Next time you play ‘guess the silhouette player’ on here, can you instead play ‘guess which swear word Andy Sullivan uses?’ I mean, I think the ultimate was thrown in there at one point ??

With over 1 million views on Twitter in less than 24 hours, as well as countless others across other platforms, Sullivan’s accomplishment is being seen and shared by many inside and outside of the golf world’s bubble, even his peers.
