The Caddie Network Launch “Caddie Appreciation Week”

The Caddie Network (TCN) announced on Thursday, June 6 its first Caddie Appreciation Week with the debut of #loveyourlooper, a fun national awareness campaign inviting golfers of all levels to celebrate and honor the caddies in their lives and the unique role caddies have in all of sports.

Caddie Appreciation Week officially runs June 10 through June 17 concurrent with the U.S. Open and Father’s Day weekend and as TCN celebrates its one-year anniversary as a leading and fresh voice for the world of golf.

With more than 150 professional caddies participating, and a loyal and passionate golf audience, TCN is the first-ever digital content platform dedicated to professional and amateur caddies and their unique experiences and insights.

#LoveYourLooper: A Collection Of Our Favorite Caddie Shoutouts

Caddie Appreciation Week invites golfers and caddies of all levels to participate through their social media channels, specifically by posting pictures and video that best capture their player-caddie relationship using both the #loveyourlooper hashtag and by tagging @caddienetwork. Throughout the week, TCN will be showcasing a #loveyourlooper “best of the best” at www.thecaddienetwork. Golfers and caddies can begin making their #loveryourlooper social media postings June 6.

The new awareness campaign kicks off with an introductory video by TCN Ambassador Michael Collins and several PGA Tour players – Austin Cook, Brooks Koepka, Pat Perez and Jimmy Walker – will be contributing their own #loveyourlooper videos. TCN has invited LPGA, European and PGA Tour professionals and caddies, celebrities and others to participate. Caddie Now, Golf Digest, Loopers The Movie and Swing U also are supporting the Week with TCN.

“We are very pleased to bring #loveyourlooper and Caddie Appreciation Week to golfers of all levels,” said TCN Co-Founders Merrill Squires and John von Stade. “This should provide a very fun and viral way for both professional and amateur golfers to celebrate the caddies in their lives and honor one of the most unique professions and avocations in all of sports. We also cannot think of a better way to commemorate The Caddie Network’s one-year anniversary.”
