Holding a 10½ – 6½ lead after four sessions, the European Ryder Cup team’s chances of victory were pretty strong, but there was plenty of recent history that would suggest the competition was far from over.
Knowing that the Europeans needed to leave no doubt when it came to Sunday singles, captain Thomas Bjorn compiled a fantastic video that featured former Ryder Cup captains Brian Huggett, Sam Torrance and Jose Maria Olazabal explaining that there will be a tomorrow regardless of the outcome, but on that day, you want to be a Ryder Cup champion.

The video did its job. The Europeans won or halved eight of the 12 singles matches ensuring a lopsided 17½ – 10½ victory.
