The list of highlights Tiger Woods has compiled with his fabled Scotty Cameron putter is, well, better than most. Sure, the full swing is iconic, but it’s the flatstick that’s produced all those pandemonium-inducing fist pumps.
So it was no surprise when it was announced Woods’ foray into course design would include putting courses in conjunction with his partners at the golf-entertainment brand PopStroke. And now those two 18-hole mini tracks — the Tiger Red Course and the Tiger Black Course — are set for launch in Sarasota, Fla., on April 28.

Woods on Wednesday took to his Twitter account to unveil the designs, which both feature sloping greens lined with faux rough, bunkers and palm trees. The Red Course is aimed at players of a higher skill level while the Black Course features “softened contours” to attract families and more casual players.
“We are excited to introduce PopStroke to the Sarasota community as we continue our expansion,” Woods said in a press release. “PopStroke is about bringing friends and families together to create lasting memories around the game of golf. We have created two 18-hole putting courses that can be enjoyed by all, regardless of age or skill level. We look forward to welcoming a new generation of players to our unique putting experiences at PopStroke Sarasota.”
PopStroke has two additional locations in Fort Myers, Fla., and Port St. Lucie, Fla., and is expected to expand to Orlando, Houston and Tampa later this year. Each venue is equipped with restaurants, bars and other amenities, with a dedicated app for placing orders. TGR, the business arm of Woods’ brand, will oversee a renovation at the Port St. Lucie location.
