Matt Kuchar snapped a 4½ year winless drought with a one-stroke victory on Sunday at the Mayakoba Golf Classic over Danny Lee. Kuchar’s back-to-back 64s to open the week put him in prime position to close out the event with a 65-69 weekend, 22-under par, his lowest tournament score to par in his career.
Matt Kuchar now has eight PGA TOUR wins.

Following his eighth win on the PGA Tour, Kuchar was quick to thank his primary sponsor, Bridgestone Golf.
Check out the packed bag of Bridgestone, Titleist, PING, Cleveland and Bettinardi equipment he used to win.

Kuchar hit over 80% of his fairways at El Camaleon Golf Club over four rounds, ranking him third in the field in driving accuracy, which led to good looks into the green (he hit just shy of 80% of those as well). Add those two ingredients with a solid putter and you have the recipe for a PGA Tour victory.
