Dustin Johnson laid claim to the 2016 PGA Tour Player of the Year award with his third victory of the season on Sunday in Indianapolis. DJ fired rounds of 67-63-68-67 to post a 23-under par total, three strokes better than runner-up Paul Casey.

DJ hit 10 practice putts with his brother’s putter and went on to come in second in the field in strokes gained: putting en route to his third win of the season. DJ gained more than seven strokes on the field and led the 68-man field in putts per green in regulation.
