Rory McIlroy putted his way back into the winner’s circle for the first time in 16 months on the PGA Tour with his win at the Deutsche Bank Championship on Monday. McIlroy fired rounds of 71-67-66-65 to come from six shots back in the final round.

While McIlroy’s driving was superior, the difference this week came on the greens. Switching to a new putter, the 4-time major champion led the field in putts, putts per green in regulation and putting average. He also finished seventh in strokes gained: putting, picking up more than five strokes on the field with the putter.
