Tools: Rose’s New Equipment Gets Same Results

Justin Rose has revamped the equipment in his bag over the last four weeks, but his standing as the top player in the world has remained unchanged, bolstered by an impressive two-shot victory over Adam Scott at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Rose left the TaylorMade stable — where he’s spent his entire career — to partner with Japanese luxury equipment brand Honma Golf. Rose proved the change wouldn’t come at the cost of his golf as he blitzed Torrey Pines’ North and South courses to the tune of 21-under par over four rounds.

Rose put 11 Honma clubs into play as well as a new putter.
