Tools: Matsuyama’s Winning Clubs at Firestone

Hideki Matsuyama ran away from the field during the final round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club on Sunday. Matsuyama fired a scorching final-round 61, which tied the course record, and led to a five-shot victory over Zach Johnson.

Check out the Callaway, TaylorMade, Honma, Srixon and Cleveland equipment he used to capture his third PGA Tour victory of the season.

Matsuyama’s runaway victory was done in typical Hideki fashion: exceptional ball striking. The Japanese superstar led the field in greens in regulation, strokes gained: around the green, strokes gained: tee to green and strokes gained: total. He also placed a respectable 15th in strokes gained: putting, which was more than enough to capture his second WGC win of his career.
