Rose’s iron game has long been the strong suit of his game and during the HSBC Champions that was no different, especially down the stretch. Needing to finish strong to put the pressure on Dustin Johnson and Henrik Stenson behind him, Rose hit his P730 5-iron to tap-in range on the difficult par-3 17th to make his fifth birdie on the back nine on Sunday, which proved to be plenty to take home the trophy.
