Thomas is one of the longest pound-for-pound players on the PGA Tour, but it was his long iron game that was most impressive at the Tournament of Champions. From outside of 200 yards, Thomas’ proximity to the hole was a field-best 32’9″, nearly eight feet closer than the second best player in the field (Si Woo Kim) and 23 feet closer than the field average.
