Tools: Rickie Winning Clubs At The Honda Classic

Rickie Fowler earned his fourth career PGA Tour victory, and his first worldwide win since the 2016 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, on Sunday at the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Fowler shot rounds of 66-66-65-71 to beat Morgan Hoffmann and Gary Woodland by four strokes.

While Fowler’s short game was on full display this week at PGA National, the tweak he made to his driver at the beginning of the week earns the Cobra F7+ the MVC award this week. Fowler cut his driver down an inch from 44.5 inches to 43.5 inches and saw an immediate uptick in its performance. Entering the week ranked 131st in driving accuracy, Fowler finished T17 in the field in the same stat, as well as 10th in strokes gained: off the tee.
