A strong field has turned up in Hartford, Connecticut the week following the U.S. Open to attempt to jostle for FedEx Cup position as the end of the season draws near. Threes player inside the top-six in the Official World Golf Rankings and 12 of the top-30 players in the FedEx Cup standings will peg it at TPC River Highlands. You can catch the opening rounds of some of the best players in world exclusively on PGA TOUR LIVE, which will have coverage beginning early Thursday morning.
Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Bubba Watson will look to bounce back from missed cuts at Erin Hills while Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Brian Harman, Patrick Reed and Brandt Snedeker hope to continue their good play. Catch all of their first two rounds of action during the PGA TOUR LIVE coverage window over the first two days of the event.
Last year’s Travelers saw Jim Furyk earn the moniker of “Mr. 58” after torching TPC River Highlands and posting a 12-under par round that led to a T5 finish. Will someone go low again this year?
