Peter Malnati can relax after securing a hard-fought victory at the Valspar Championship on Sunday. His final-round 67, which included four birdies on the back nine at Innisbrook’s challenging Copperhead Course, earned him a two-shot win and a spot in The Masters.

The 36-year-old journeyman secured his second PGA Tour win, finishing at 12-under par and marking his first win since 2015.

Malnati’s stellar performance earned him the top prize of $1,512,000, while runner-up Cameron Young, despite his seventh second-place finish on Tour, took home $915,600.

With a total purse of $8 million, the 2024 Valspar Championship provided substantial payouts for all participating PGA Tour players.
