The Masters began early Thursday morning and perhaps the best tradition is the honorary tee-shot.
On Thursday, three-time Masters winner Gary Player and six-time winner Jack Nicklaus did the honors.

Player, 82, was the first to swing while Nicklaus, 78, followed with temperatures chilly in the mid-40s, Augusta National Chairman Fred Ridley introduced the duo.
The first competitive group off the tee was Wesley Bryan, Austin Cook and Ted Potter Jr.
