The signed glove has recently become a staple gift Tour pros hand out when hitting one wayward and drilling a spectator. Sure, it doesn’t take away the pain or bruising of a golf ball ricocheting off of your knee or head, but something about looking at that piece of leather with sharpie marker from your favorite player afterward makes it all worth it.
On Thursday during the first round of the Web.com Tour’s LECOM Health Challenge, Andrew Yun hit a lady spectator and followed the standard operating procedure of signing a glove. Except he ran into a small issue: he didn’t have any more gloves in his bag to finish the round with! Yun then was forced to take it back and play with his own signature on his hand the rest of the day en route to a 2-under par round of 70.

Talk about embarrassing! Hopefully, the injured fan got something more out of this than just a bruise.
