Wesley Bryan Makes Birdie From The Porta-Potties

You know the saying “there are no pictures on the scorecard?” Well, Wesley Bryan proved why that’s the case on Friday during the playing of a weather-delayed second round of the Well Fargo Championship. The trick shot artist turned PGA Tour champion performed perhaps his greatest trick of all.

On the par-5 fifth hole at Eagle Point Golf Club, his 15th hole of the day, Bryan hit a wayward drive and found himself so far to the right that his ball was blocked out by the porta-potties. After taking relief (pun thoroughly intended) and moving two vans, Bryan attempted to be a hero and hit driver off the hardpan, but instead hit a “chunk hook” into the gallery on the other side of the fairway.

From there, he played a punch from the pine straw to five feet and knocked in the putt for arguably the most ridiculous birdie fours in the history of the game.

If scorecards did have pictures, this is what it would’ve looked like:

Unfortunately, Bryan shot a five-over par 77 leaving him outside the cut line.
