Best Shot You’ve Ever Hit: At this point, the closest I’ve gotten to the pin in one is a foot and a bit — still a hole-in-one virgin.
Worst Shot You’ve Ever Hit: I shanked one once and it headed straight for a golf buggy, ricocheted and disappeared. We searched under the buggy to find it lodged in the rim of the wheel!
Why Do You Use SxS?: You spend a lot of time in the moment, clearing your head, setting up and focusing. It’s good to revise a whole round afterwards and study where your strengths and weak points are to form better mental habits next round. Making predetermined decisions beforehand can prevent falling into ill focus or bad habits next round.
What Has Looper Added To Your Golfing Experience?: To be honest, golf seems to be a sport that invites the critiquing of all your opponents wether you need or want. I’ve gotten some really good professional tuition recently that had me gaining distance, driving straighter and overshooting most greens. It’s great to see this evidence in SxS club stats and see progress long and short term. Gaining distance, dropping shots and now pulling back clubs. Also getting less “try doing this…” from mates.
