If the Facebook announcement didn’t suffice, if the press conference Tuesday wasn’t enough, here’s video proof that Tiger Woods is back and taking full swings:
In less than 48 hours, Woods will tee off for the first time in a PGA Tour event since March 9. He’s grouped with Jordan Spieth and Jason Day at the Quicken Loans National (8:12 a.m. Thursday off No. 10, 1:12 p.m. Friday off No. 1).
And so the quest continues to reach 82 PGA Tour victories, the record held by Sam Snead of which Woods is three wins shy. And following this week, Woods’ focus shifts to the Open Championship, where he’ll resume his quest to reach 18 major titles, the record held by Jack Nicklaus of which Woods is four shy.
