With the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic playing nearby at Lake Merced Golf Club, the San Francisco Giants hosted Golf Night at the Park on Friday night. Baseball fans who purchased the special event ticket package received a limited-edition headcover featuring Lou Seal, the Giants mascot.
“Golf-themed entertainment” was also on the agenda for Golf Night at AT&T Park. As part of that action, Paula Creamer and Michelle Wie performed the “first chip” in lieu of a ceremonial first pitch. Fellow LPGA stars Brittany Lincicome, Christina Kim and Juli Inkster were also on hand to participate in a fan Q&A prior to the game and got to go out on the field and meet some players:
