With Tiger Woods Out, Josh Duhamel Set To Revive Golf

Tiger Woods may be taking some time off to re-tool his game, but fret not golf fans — the game is in capable hands of Josh Duhamel. I guess once you get Fergie to marry you, you can do anything. Right?

“I’m here to revive golf,” Duhamel told Bloomberg on Wednesday.

Obviously, to that end, Duhamel was joking, but he did expound on his love for the game.

“I’ve played this game since I was a kid and I love it,” Duhamel said. “I especially love getting to play in this tournament. It’s one of the highlights of my year to get to come up here and play Pebble Beach.”

Duhamel also offered some advice for Woods, but admitted that Woods probably doesn’t want advice from a 10-handicap.

“I still think he’s going to get it back. I think sometimes he tweaks with himself too much,” Duhamel said. “He thinks too much about technical stuff. At the end of the day, you’ve got to see the shot and hit it. He doesn’t want to hear it from me but, I just want to see the old Tiger back.”
