A Trick For Shots Around The Green

When you’re around the greens and they got short little shots, the closer the hole is to you, you should grip shorter down the shaft. this allows you to take shorter swings and let the ball just pop up and run to the hole. When you go further and you want a higher softer shot, you can grip longer so you can swing the clubhead further. If you want to hit a shot that goes over a bunker, grip it right up to the end of the club and just swing it. The ball goes high, lands, and then runs to the hole.

So, what happens is when you grip it longer, your chest goes up and when you turn, the club can go further back. When you swing through, you can really keep your hands close to you. The toughest shot in golf for anybody is when we get closer. So, once you get closer, grip it shorter.

Take the time, work on this. Enjoy it, feel it, and improve.
