An underappreciated aspect of great power and distance is the body’s ability to complete the swing. If there are limitations in our follow-through, our body subconsciously protects against that and negatively affects the swing long before we finish it. Similarly to how we stretched out to lengthen our backswing, we’re going to grab hold near a completed swing position and lengthen our muscles in order to simulate a complete and total release in the follow-through.
