One of the most misunderstood concepts in golf, especially when we’re talking about the driver, is gear effect. Everyone wants more distance with the driver and the no. 1 way to get more distance is to learn how to hit it out of the center of the clubface.
Using a foot spray, we’re going to be able to see where we’re making contact with the ball on the face of the driver. Gear effect is designed to help the golfer, but oftentimes it doesn’t. Get some spray, find out what your pattern is and it will help you hit the ball longer and straighter off the tee.
