Here’s a simple pitching short game drill for players that continue to get a little out of sequence. Whether it’s your arms going before your body, letting the wrist angles out to early, or having poor low point control, this is going to be a great drill that is going to teach you how to achieve all of those great little sequence moves.

The drill is simply hitting balls with one arm. You can put your left hand on your right bicep for some stability, but I want you to feel like you’re making a nice little underhanded toss. That’s going to force you to pivot right.

This is going to be difficult at first, but I guarantee you if you can learn to do this, that you will be on your way to building a world-class short game.
