I often get asked how to hit mid-range shots that don’t require a full swing. The biggest mistake I see is golfers trying to take a full swing anyway.

Instead, focus on pivoting and levering the club. Release through impact with your wrists to use the ground to generate clubhead speed.

A short, low follow-through will help you control both distance and trajectory.
