Deep bunkers can intimidate many golfers, leading them to overcomplicate the shot. I like to keep it simple.

Imagine a string running from the ball to the top of the lip—this angle is often less than the loft of your sand wedge. With that in mind, take your stance, lean left, and trust the loft on your wedge to lift the ball over the lip with confidence.
