If you’re consistently striking the ball poorly, the odds are pretty good that you’re sliding your lower body forward in transition.

As you move your lower body forward, the upper body becomes displaced, forcing the low point, path and angle of attack to get out of whack. Good players keep the center of their torso stacked through the backswing and transition, separating only at the last moment as some vertical force comes into play.
