Perhaps something you don’t consider at setup is how your neck is aligned, which can impact your pivot and shoulder turn. A poor neck alignment can result in excess side bend, therefore causing the hips and shoulders to stop rotating, which creates a lot of manipulation in the downswing.

If you’re struggling with a lack of rotation, check your neck alignment. By getting your neck aligned with your spine, you’re freeing up your pivot to get more turn and thoracic extension, resulting in more consistent swings.
