When we watch the best players in the world make a full swing, we see that they are able to lead the downswing of their full swing with their lower body, but conversely, they putt primarily with their upper body. Utilizing and isolating movement in one part of the body is called disassociation, and one’s ability to do so is not only a physical feat, but a mental one. Practice your disassociation drills in the mirror to help get the most out of your swing.
