Here we find ourselves with an uneven lie on the right side of the fairway. We have a ball that’s above our feet, so anytime the balls above our feet, the club is going to be further up, which would make the face go more to the left. The face goes more to the left with your long irons so you’re going to see that ball start further left, and with your short irons, you see that it manifests itself more in a bigger draw. When I play a draw and I have an uneven lie, I’m going to have two options: either play with a little bit more of an open face and purposely try to almost push it against a lie or go with the lie and have this ball go a little bit further.
