Here’s how to hit a high soft pitch without using much wrist action. The key is to fold the trail elbow through the shaft.

Take your lofted wedge and hit a shot just with your trail arm. Let the elbow fold, allowing it to expose more loft and get the bounce to hit the ground. You’ll hear its nice thumping sound as the club glides along the ground.

So, one-handed, fold your elbow, slides right under the ball, and add your lead hand just for decoration. There’s your nice high soft pitch.
