If you want to play better in the wind, don’t put the ball back in your stance thinking you’ll hit it lower. That steeper attack angle will add more spin, getting the ball up in the air.

Instead, take extra club and grip down on it to make it the same length as the club you’d normally hit that distance. This will change the launch characteristics, keeping spin off the ball and sending the ball the desired distance.
