Under pressure, you have to lean in on your pre-shot routine. I love using a metronome to help us with that. I have my metronome set at 74 and ticks are giving me a count. I like to use a four-count when I go through my normal pre-shot routine. I’m going to get over the ball and when I’m ready. I’m going to have a look down, back, and on that 4th beat, I’m going to make contact. This will help you get great rhythm and tempo. My recommendation is somewhere between 68 to 76 on what to set your metronome at.
