Here’s really simple drill for you to get a feel of what it’s like to maintain a steady radius and allow your torso rotation to control the rate of closure of the clubface and then also your distance without independent hand motion. You want to simply get the club up and feel like it’s on the seam of your shirt. Your arms should be bent out and then from there you’re going to rotate through, trying to make sure that you keep your right arm on the side of your shirt and your body’s rotation is squaring the club up, not independent hand action. This will get great, crisp contact and a shallow delivery.
