One of leading reasons that players struggle with bunker shots is the inability to control the entry point in the sand (low point control). Most tend to hit too far behind the ball which causes fat or bladed shots. The three main causes 1) too much weight shift to trail side or hanging back 2) lead wrist breaking or extending early in the downstroke 3) lack of torso rotation in the forward swing.
