Going for it is fun but it is a hard shot and if you do not pull it off you will have another hard shot. A lay up or a smart shot might not be as fun but your score more times than not will thank you. A Lay up and a wedge shot almost guarantees you will have a good score and removes the possibility of a really bad score.
